Crown Boiler Teams with Webb Supply for Contractor Training

crown boiler webb supply trainingCrown Boiler teamed up with Webb Supply earlier this month to get the heating season started off with a “Boilers & BBQ” training session held at the Winking Lizard Tavern. Lee Ensminger of Crown Boiler and Tony Valentino of Webb Supply spearheaded the training, which focused on Crown Boiler’s new Aruba 4 boiler. The Aruba 4, or AWR, is a gas-fired, cast iron, hot water boiler designed for use with a conventional chimney. Crown Boiler’s training van was also on site, giving attendees a chance to work with a live fire boiler. Attendees were able to pick up two hours of NATE credit as well.

Along with the new boiler demonstration, the meeting covered the new 2012 DOE regulations. Many of the contractors were unaware of the new regulations, and appreciated being brought up to speed. “Attendance was excellent, and many thought this was one of the best meetings of the year,” Tony said. “A few prospective dealers attended the meeting and were introduced to Crown Boiler, and thought it was an excellent alternative to the competition.”

Crown Boiler feels that training is an essential part of the HVAC industry, and strives to give contractors the tools they need to succeed. With online, mobile, and in person training, Crown offers multiple channels for contractors to build their knowledge, and is committed to education. For more information, visit www.CrownBoiler.com.
